Dr Gordon MacLeod

Dr Gordon has been a Chiropractor for 30 years. He graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Canada following a seven and a half year program. Dr Gordon has a great interest in science and engineering; he likes to see how things work, why they malfunction and how this can be applied to the human body. With this philosophy in mind he uses his chiropractic skills and experience to restore correct function enabling the body to heal itself.
Dr Gordon ran a very successful practice in Victoria, British Columbia for 15 years before he and his family sailed to New Zealand, arriving in 2001. Since then he has practised in Mount Maunganui with a satellite clinic in Te Puke two mornings per week.
Dr Gordon is a firm believer in educating his patients, which will empower them with the knowledge and a greater understanding for what is going on within the body and the stages of healing that are taking place while undergoing Chiropractic care. He has a very dedicated, personal and holistic approach to health care and over the past 15 years has become an integral part of "Re-creating Wellness" within the community.
Dr Gordon's dedication to Chiropractic extends to many hours of continued education, along with an active involvement and ongoing support within the New Zealand Chiropractic Association, the New Zealand Chiropractic Research Centre and the New Zealand Chiropractic College in Auckland. In addition, he facilitates a voluntary clinic in Samoa once per year enabling local villagers to benefit from his work.
He is fully accredited and registered with the New Zealand Chiropractic Board and the New Zealand National Laboratory for X-ray.
